Navarre Beach Fishing Pier extends 1,545 feet into the Gulf of Mexico, and Santa Rosa County describes it as the longest pier in Florida and the Gulf of Mexico. The pier’s length gives shore-based anglers access to water and fish that would otherwise often require a boat.

Fishing Tips

For king and Spanish mackerel, watch for baitfish activity and work live baits, jigs, or fast-moving artificial lures through productive water. Cobia may also appear seasonally, making it worth watching the surface while fishing.

Bottom fishermen can target areas around and beyond the pier with appropriate bait rigs. The pier’s octagonal end is popular with serious anglers, but special tackle rules apply there, including restrictions on sabiki rigs.
